ABOUT ABOUT

Join the Young Friends for a very special tour of the Woodmont Estate. The Gilded Age mansion is the longtime center of Father Divine's Peace Mission Movement and is one of only a few National Historic Landmarks in the Philadelphia area. The tour will be led by Bob Thomas whose intimate knowledge of the estate led to its addition to the National Register of Historic Places. The tour will feature information about the owner of the original estate as well as Father Divine, a Philadelphia and national icon.

Carpooling is encouraged as the site is not accessible on foot. However, the Conshohocken stop on the Manayunk/Norristown line is within biking distance. Please note that as Woodmont is a site of religious significance, the Peace Mission Movement imposes a business casual dress code. Guests should not wear shorts or sleeveless tops and ladies must wear a dress or skirt.

Please email us with any concerns or questions.
