ABOUT ABOUT

Join the Lower Merion Conservancy and the Young Friends of the Preservation Alliance for a tour of Pencoyd Landing.

Pencoyd Landing is one of the Philadelphia area’s most exciting recent adaptive reuse projects. Join the Young Friends of the Preservation Alliance and the Lower Merion Conservancy for an exclusive presentation and behind-the-scenes tour of the site with the Penn Group, developers of the former Pencoyd Iron Works buildings. You’ll learn the amazing decades-long story of the iron works and how the remains of the company have been adapted for new uses for the 21st century. Snacks and beverages will be provided and there are post-tour dining options on site. Pencoyd Landing is easily accessible from various points, including City Avenue, Manayunk, and the Wissahickon Transportation Center via the Pencoyd Bridge over the Schuylkill River.
