Tour led by Danielle Smith, Director of Development at Smith Playground, and hosted by Young Friends of the Preservation Alliance.
What:
A tour of the Smith Playground located at 3500 Reservoir Dr, Philadelphia, PA 19121. Tours will be $10 for non-members and free for members. The event will be limited to 30 adults, however, adults can bring children with them. Children under 12 years old will get in for free. Adults are not required to be accompanied by a child.
The tour will be mostly focused on the historic mansion, a recent 2022 Preservation Alliance Awards Winner, designed by James H. Windrim.

Please note that upper floors are accessed via stairs (no ramps or elevators are available) and air conditioning is limited.
When:
Wednesday, July 27th, 6pm-8pm. The tour will last for one hour, followed by networking with beverages and snacks and any free-play time for any children

Parking is free and available in the lot in front of the Smith Memorial Playhouse. The closest SEPTA route is the 3 Bus, which stops in front of the Playhouse entrance at Reservoir Drive and Smith Day Nursery Drive. The 32 Bus also drops off at Reservoir Drive and Oxford Street, a 7 minute (0.4 mile) walk away.
